6.9.4 Configuring the minimum number of MP bundled links
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface mp-group number
The MP-Group interface view appears.
Step 3
Run:
ppp mp threshold-least least-link-number
The command configures the minimum number of MP bundled links.
When the link is not stable and if there is a small number of the links in the MP, you cannot
ensure the MP bandwidth. You can configure the minimum number of the MP bundled links
to ensure the MP minimum bandwidth.
After this command is run:
•
One link is bound to MP. After the LCP negotiations succeeds and only when the number
of the bundled links in an MP reaches the lower threshold, MP carries out the NCP
negotiation. If the NCP negotiation succeeds, the MP is available.
•
The MP is available. If the status of a certain bundled link becomes Down or the binding
is deleted from the MP, and the number of the bundled links in MP is less than the lower
threshold, the NCP negotiation is not successful, and the MP is not available.
By default, the lower threshold of the number of the MP bundled links is 1.
Step 4
Run:
Shutdown
And
undo shutdown
The command restarts the MP-group interface.
After this command is configured, you need to restart the MP-group interface or all bundled
links on the MP-group interface.
—End
