Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface atm interface-number[.subinterface ]
The ATM interface or the sub-interface view appears.
Step 3
Run:
pvc { pvc-name vpi/vci | vpi/vci }
A PVC is created and the PVC view appears.
Step 4
Run:
quit
Return to the ATM interface view.
Step 5
Run:
pvc-group { pvc-name vpi/vci | vpi/vci }
The command creates a PVC-group and the PVC-group view appears.
You make the PVC-name or VPI/VCI value of a PVC-group consistent with that of the
previously created PVC.
Step 6
Run:
ip-precedence { pvc-name [ vpi/vci ]
| vpi/vci } { min [ max ] | default }
The precedence of the IP packets over PVC in a PVC-group is configured.
You make the PVC name or the value of vpi/vci in the PVC-Group be consistent with that
those of the previously. created PVC.
CQ NOTE
The PVC mapping in the PVC-Group cannot change the precedence of an IP packet. To change it, you
should configure Committed Access Rate (CAR). For details, refer to the Nortel Secure Router 8000
Series Configuration Guide - QoS.
