10.3 Configuring ATM-classes
10.3.1 Establishing the configuration task
Applicable environment
When configuring the same parameters such as PVC MAP, service category, encapsulation
type and OAM for multiple ATM main interfaces or PVCs, use the ATM-Class to avoid
configuring them for ATM interfaces or PVCs one by one.
Preconfiguration tasks
Before configuring an ATM-Class, complete the following tasks:

Configuring physical attributes for the ATM interface
•
Configuring an IP address and mask for the ATM interface or sub-interface
•
Creating PVC

To configure an ATM-Class, you need the following data.
