7.8.2 Example for directly connecting two routers by Using X.25
Networking requirements
As shown in Figure 7-11, if you directly connect two routers back to back, the X.25 protocol
is encapsulated between the serial interfaces for IP data packet transmission.

Configuration roadmap
The configuration roadmap is as follows:
1. Allocate IP addresses to the serial interfaces on Router A and Router B.
2.
Configure the protocol type on each interface to X.25 and configure the X121 address.
