8.11 Configuring MFR bundle and MFR bundle Link
8.11.1 Establishing the configuration task
Applicable environment
Every MFR bundle has its bundle identification (BID).
Configure MFR bundle link including the bundle identifier and the hello packet parameters
You use the link identification (LID) of FR bundle to make the remote device identify the FR
bundle link. Both BID and LID are only valid locally, you make the identifiers at both ends of
the link the same.
The bundle link views the feasibility of link status through hello packets. Bundle link
maintains link state by periodically sending hello packets. If the hello packet sent by the
bundle link does not receive a response from the remote end, the hello packet is resent after a
while. When the resending times reaches the maximum and there is still no response received,
the link is regarded as malfunctioning.
Preconfiguration tasks
•
Before configuring the MFR bundle identifier, create the MFR interface.
•
Before configuring the MFR bundle link identifier, complete the following tasks:
-
Configuring physical parameters for FR interfaces
-
Bundling the current interface onto the specified MFR interface
