12 PPPoE configuration
If the
shutdown
and the
undo shutdown
commands or
restart
command are run after you
configure the PPPoE service name, the users who have accessed the previous configurations
are re-authenticated.
12.2.4 Checking the configuration
Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.

12.3 Configuring PPPoE parameters
12.3.1 Establishing the configuration task
Applicable environment
After configuring PPPoE, configure PPPoE parameters as required to optimize the link
channel, including:

Logging the status changes of PPPoE users.
•
Specifying the maximum number of PPPoE sessions that can be set up on a local MAC
address.
•
Specifying the maximum number of PPPoE sessions that can be set up on a peer MAC
address.
•
Specifying the maximum number of PPPoE sessions that can be set up the on the local
system.
Preconfiguration tasks
