6 PPP and MP configuration
Step 2
Run:
interface mp-group number
The command creates the MP-group interface.
CQ NOTE
The SR8000 is an integrated device. The numbering of MP-group interfaces follows certain limitations.
The slot number and card number are fixed as 0.
Step 3
Run:
ip address ip-address { mask | mask-length }
[ sub ]
The IP address is assigned for the MP-group interface.
Step 4
Run:
quit
Return to the system view.
Step 5
Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view appears.
Step 6
Run:
ppp mp mp-group number
The command adds the interface into the MP-group.

Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface mp-group number
The command creates the MP-group interface.
