interface-type in the command of Step 3 is generally physical interface.
Step 4 Run:
quit
Return to the system view.
Step 5 Choose one of the following steps to configure the FR backup link as required.
• Run the fr switch name interface interface-type in-interface-number dlci in-dlci
interface interface-type out-interface-number dlci out-dlci standby pvc-name group
group-number command to configure the FR backup link through PVC.
• Run the fr switch name interface interface-type in-interface-number dlci in-dlci
interface tunnel out-interface-number dlci out-dlci standby pvc-name group
group-number command to configure the FR backup link through tunnel interface.
ED NOTE
When configuring the FR link backup through PVC or tunnel interfaces, the incoming interface must be
the incoming interface of the master link. Otherwise, the configuration cannot succeed.

If the switching PVC to be deleted is the last one in the standby group, the system
automatically deletes the group accordingly.
8.7.3 Configuring the automatic switching mode
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2 Run:
fr standby group group-number switch auto
The command configures the automatic switching mode.

NOTE
Currently, the automatic switching supports only the switchover from the master PVC to the slave PVC.
Step 3 Run:
fr standby group group-number switch auto inactive-master-percent active-slave-percent
The command configures a threshold for triggering the automatic switching.
By default, the switching from master PVCs to slave PVCs takes effect automatically and the
threshold is 100% enabling the switching when all master PVCs are inactive and all slave
PVCs are active.
