Status
Indicates the current status of the line card. Possible status are:

ˆ

--: No line card or module installed.

ˆ

On: The line card is receiving power.

ˆ

Off: The line card is not receiving power.

ˆ

Resetting: The line card’s operational mode has been changed.

Link (A) and Link (B)
Displays whether there is an active connection between a port and the
device connected to the port. Online indicates there is a link while
Offline indicates there is no link.

OpMode
Displays the operating mode configured on the line cards. Possible
values are:

SML (Smart Missing Link Mode)

ˆ

ML (Missing Link Mode)

ˆ

OAM BYPASS

ˆ

OAM Visible

ˆ

Link Test

ˆ

LineCard Mgmt (DIP switches are operational)

Detailed Line

Card Information

The AT-S70 management software provides detailed information about
the line cards including items such as link status, port speed, duplex
mode, and activity.

Note

When you configure a line card to any operating mode through the
AT-S70 management software, the configuration is saved in the
EEPROM. The DIP switches become non-functional.

To make the DIP switches functional again, you must set the line
card operating mode to “Line Card DIP Switch Mode” as described
in “Configuring the Line Card Operating Mode” on page 69.
