Setting the Priority of a Physical Port
CLI Command
Use the set port default-priority command to set the priority of a physical
port. Each physical port has a default priority of 3. The syntax of the
command is:
(configure)#
set port default-priority {{
swport-range>} [..., {
48-port 10/100 modules
• 1 set of 8 queues for
ports 1–12.
• 1 set of 8 queues for
ports 13–24.
• 1 set of 8 queues for
ports 25–36
• 1 set of 8 queues for
ports 37–48
Total: 4 sets of 8
queues

The slot number of a module. If you specify
the module.
The slot number of a module, and, either a
port number, or a range of port numbers
having the format Px-Py. For example:
• To specify port 1 on the module in slot
3, enter 3/1.
• To specify ports 1 through 5 on the
module in slot 3, enter 3/1-5.
If you specify
priority is set for the port or range of ports on
the module that you specify.
