Installing Adobe Acrobat
Reader 4.05 Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.05 is required to view *.pdf files contained in
Knowledge Builder. Follow these steps to install Acrobat Reader 4.05.
1. Insert the ProcessLogix R400.0 Knowledge Builder CD into the
CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Start
⇒
Run.
3. Key in this path location in the Open entry field or use Browse
to navigate to the Setup.exe file on the CD.
>D:(or your CD-ROM drive letter)\Adobe\Setup.exe<
4. Click OK.
5. At the Acrobat Reader 4.05 Setup window, click Next.
6. At the Choose Destination Location window, click Next.
7. Click OK.
Additional Operating
System Customization
Procedures All procedures in this section assume that you are logged onto the
system with Administrator access. Follow the procedure below to log
on to the system:
1. If necessary, Boot/Turn on the system.
2. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to prompt the logon information.
3. Use the Administrator user account and enter the appropriate
password.
TIP
If this is the first time start since the operating
system install, it will be necessary to remove the
default startup Screens
Professional Systems
1. On the “Getting Started with Windows 2000” window, uncheck
the box Show this dialog at startup.
2. Click Exit.
Server Systems
1. On the Windows 2000 Configure your Server window, select the
