8. Click Yes to restart the computer.
Reinstalling Components
Use the following procedure to reinstall the prior removed software
components:
1. Logon to the system as ps_user.
2. Insert the ProcessLogix R400.0 Software CD 1 into the CD-ROM
drive.
3. Click Start
⇒
Run.
4. Key in this path location in the Open entry field or use Browse
to navigate to the setup.exe file on the CD.
>D:(or your CD-ROM drive letter)\SETUP.EXE<
5. Click OK to launch the software setup application.
6. Click the ProcessLogix Server option and click Next.
7. At the Before installing window, click Yes.
8. At the Product Selection Completed window, click Continue.
Installing SQL Server
The SQL Setup Installation Application will automatically start. Status
messages will indicate progress, but no user interaction is required.
Both SQL Server and SQL Service Pack 3 will be installed. This will
take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. When the SQL install is complete,
the ProcessLogix Software CD 1 will eject.
ATTENTION
!
After the system is rebooted, you will receive an
notcli.exe – Unable to Locate DLL prompt. This is
normal at this stage and can be ignored. Click OK to
close the prompt.
IMPORTANT
You must have either a PCIC or Ethernet card
installed in your ProcessLogix Server to install
R400.0.
