3. Use the Administrator user account and enter the appropriate
password.
4. Insert the ProcessLogix R400.0 Knowledge Builder CD into the
CD-ROM drive.
5. Click Start
⇒
Run.
6. Key in this path location in the Open entry field or use Browse
to navigate to the ie5setup.exe file on the CD.
>D:(or your CD-ROM drive letter)\IE5_5_SP1\ie5setup.exe<
7. Click OK to launch the Internet Explorer setup application.
8. Click the I accept the agreement option and click Next.
9. At the Windows Update: Internet Explorer window, click Next.
10. Click Finish to restart the Computer.
TIP
If this is the first time start since the operating
system install, it will be necessary to remove the
default startup Screens
Professional Systems
1. On the Getting Started with Windows 2000 window, uncheck
box Show this screen at startup checkbox.
2. Click Exit.
Server Systems
1. On the Windows 2000 Configure your Server window, select
the I will configure this Server later option and click Next.
2. Uncheck the Show this screen at startup checkbox and close the
window.
TIP
On subsequent logons to the computer, a task will
run to apply the update. You will see this one time
for all users of the computer.
