2. Right-click the drive you wish to check and select Properties.
3. Select Tools.
4. Click Check Now in the Error-Checking section.
5. Check the Automatically fix files system errors checkbox and
click Start.
Unless a prior check revealed bad sectors, do not check the
Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
6. Due to file system locking the drive (NTFS), the system cannot
perform this option at this time. Click Yes to schedule the
operation to occur the next time the system is started.
7. Shutdown and restart the system.
The check will occur during the Startup.
