Installing Knowledge
Builder on a
Non-ProcessLogix System
Knowledge Builder is the software application used to display
ProcessLogix’s documentation. Knowledge Builder (KB) requires
several other software applications and Microsoft components to
function properly. These components are included on the Knowledge
Builder application CD.
Removing Knowledge Builder
Before installing ProcessLogix R400.0 Knowledge Builder, you must
remove and previous versions of Knowledge Builder.
1. Click Start

Settings
⇒
Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. Click on Knowledge Builder in the list of installed programs and
click Add/Remove.
4. Click Yes to confirm.
IMPORTANT
This release of Knowledge Builder only supports
Windows NT and Windows 2000.
