About the Summary Backup Charts
Backup Manager displays six summary backup charts on the Summary tab by default, and it offers
many of other charts. To learn how to display these other charts and/or modify the default charts,
see ” Modifying Summary Backup Charts ” on page 405.

Servers Backup Applications This chart displays the servers Backup Manager
monitors. The chart displays the following for each
server:
• Volume
• Jobs
• Failed
• Partial
• Successful
Resources Backup Applications This chart displays the resources Backup Manager
monitors. The chart displays the following for each
server:
• Media Pools
• Available media
• Allocated
• Frozen
• Suspended
See ” Glossary ” on page 685 for a definition of these
terms.
You may have noticed two numbers with a plus sign
(4+2 for example) in the Available Media, Allocated,
Frozen and Suspended columns. The first number is the
number of available online media. The second number is
the available off line media. This information is only
available to the master server.
