Image and configuration file download and upload
The following objects manage file downloads and uploads. They are available in all devices.
When uploading or downloading configuration files to and from the TFTP server using SNMP, check
for the following:
•
If the SNMP password check is enabled on the device, the object must be sent with the
following information in the same PDU as the TFTP objects:

If AAA is used for SNMP authentication and the authentication method is enable or line,
then the value of snAgGlbPassword must be in cleartext format.

If AAA is used for SNMP authentication and the authentication method is local, RADIUS,
Telnet, TACACS, or TACACS+, then the value of snAgGlbPassword must be in the

If AAA is not used for authentication, then the value of snAgGlbPassword for the enable
password must be in cleartext format.

Make sure that the user has administrative access (privilege=0) on the device; otherwise, the
user will not be able to upload files to the TFTP server.
NOTE
An atomic set of snAgImgLoad, snAgImgFname, snAgTftpServerAddrType and snAgTftpServerAddr
is required for a successful download or upload.

are ipv4(1) and ipv6(2). The default address type is ipv4(1).

Shows the TFTP server IP address.
snAgImgFname

Syntax: DisplayString
Read-write
Shows the name of the image file, including path, that is currently
associated with the system. When the object is not used, the value is
blank. It can have up to 32 characters.
