The following objects apply to all devices.

series devices.
Read-only
Shows the type of device being managed. This object can have up to
128 characters.
Possible value: 1
snChasSerNum
brcdIp.1.1.1.1.2
Syntax: DisplayString
Read-only
Shows the serial number of the chassis stored in the EEPROM of the
device. This is not the serial number on the label of the device.
If the chassis serial number is available, it is the lowest three octets of
the lowest MAC address in the device. For example, if the lowest MAC
address is 00e0 52a9 2b20, then the serial number of the chassis is
a92b20.
If the serial number is unknown or unavailable, then the value is a null
string.
This object can have up to 128 characters.
