Non-Configurable Data
Local Interface - Specifies the local port which can receive LLDP frames advertised by a remote
system.
Chassis ID - Specifies the chassis component associated with the remote system.
Port ID - Specifies the port component associated with the remote system.
System Name - Specifies the system name of the remote system.
Remote Comparison - Display the result of comparison between LLDP local and remote devices
information.
Command Buttons
Refresh - Updates the information on the page.
Clear - Clears LLDP Remote Device information received on all the interfaces.
11.3.23 Managing LLDP-MED
11.3.23.1 Configuring LLDP-MED Global Configuration Page
Configurable Data
Fast Start Repeat Count - Specifies the number of LLDP PDUs that will be transmitted when the
protocol is enabled. The range is from (1 to 10). Default value of fast repeat count is 3.
Non-Configurable Data
Device Class - Specifies local device's MED Classification. There are four different kinds of devices,
three of them represent the actual end points (classified as Class I Generic [IP Communication
Controller etc.], Class II Media [Conference Bridge etc.], Class III Communication [IP Telephone
etc.]). The fourth device is Network Connectivity Device, which is typically a LAN Switch/Router,
IEEE 802.1 Bridge, IEEE 802.11 Wireless Access Point etc.
Command Buttons
Submit - Send the updated screen to the switch and cause the changes to take effect on the switch
but these changes will not be retained across a power cycle unless a save is performed.
