This command sets the virtual router ID on an interface for Virtual Router configuration in the router.
Syntax
ip vrrp <1-255>
no ip vrrp <1-255>
<1-255> - The range of virtual router ID is 1 to 255.
- This command removes all VRRP configuration details of the virtual router configured on a
specific interface.

8.8.2.2 ip vrrp ip
This commands also designates the configured virtual router IP address as a secondary IP address on
an interface.
Syntax
ip vrrp <1-255> ip [secondary]
no ip vrrp <1-255> ip [secondary]
<1-255> - The range of virtual router ID is 1 to 255.
- Secondary IP address of the router ID.
- This command removes all VRRP configuration details of the virtual router configured on a
specific interface.
