7.3.10 DHCP Client Commands
7.3.10.1 ip dhcp restart
This command is used to initiate a BOOTP or DCHP client request.

ip dhcp restart

This command is used to specify the DCHP client identifier for this switch. Use the no form to restore to
default value.
Syntax
ip dhcp client-identifier {text | hex }
no ip dhcp client-identifier
- A text string. (Range: 1-32 characters).
- The hexadecimal value (00:00:00:00:00:00).
no - This command is used to restore to default value.
