Follow these steps to view if the particular drive is capable of becoming an Emergency
Hotspare.
1. Click the physical drive node in the right panel on the WebBIOS main dialog.
The Emergency Hotspare property of the drive is displayed, as shown in Figure 116 .

4.8.10 Emergency Hotspare for
Controllers
The Emergency Hotspare properties are configured in the controller properties based
on enabling or disabling the following properties:
 Global Hotspare for Emergency
 Unconfigured Good for Emergency
 Emergency for SMARTer
4.8.10.1 Setting Controller Hot
Spare Properties Follow these steps to set the Emergency Hotspare properties for controllers.
1. From the WebBIOS main menu, click Controller Properties.
2. Click Next.
3. Click Next.
4. Click Next again to go to the controller properties last property page and get all
options to change the Emergency Hotspare properties.
