Figure 7-7 General screen lock code page

PROGRAM LOCK CODE . . . . . . . . 1 to 9999

The lock code is set by moving to Program Lock Code and entering the desired
code of up to 4 digits. If no lock code is desired, no entry needs to be made.
The lock code will be in effect after turning the unit off and an again. L LOCK
will be displayed when Program Lock is set. Default value is 0.
NOTE: If a lock code was previously programmed, that code must

subsequently be entered on the Main Menu screen, with the cursor
positioned on XXXX at the Lock Code XXXX at the lower right corner
of the Main Menu options area. After entering the lock code on that
screen, the lock code can be cleared by entering 0 for the Program
Lock Code on the General >> Lock page. The lock code can also be
cleared by pressing CLEAR on power-up, however, if no lock code has
been programmed, this will reset all parameters to their default values.

NOTE: Program lock codes are not stored on and retrieved from the USB port.

FILE ACCESS CODE . . . . . . . . . . . 1 to 9999

The File Access Code allows configuration file retrieval from the USB port when
the Program Lock Code is locked. This allows a process recipe to be entered
into the IC6 from a USB storage device without unlocking the Program Lock
Code. If the File Access Code has not been enabled, USB port retrieval is not
allowed when a Program Lock Code is present. This parameter has no effect if
there are no lock codes or the access code is set to zero. Default value is 0.
When pressing CLEAR on power-up, the File Access Code is cleared when the
parameters are cleared, not when the lock codes are cleared. The File Access
Code is not stored on nor retrieved from the USB port.
