Displaying BGP4+ information
Displaying BGP4+ summary
To view summary BGP4+ information for the device, enter the following command at any level of
the CLI.
Syntax: show ipv6 bgp summary
This display shows the following information.

Router ID
The device’s router ID.
Local AS Number
The BGP4+ AS number in which the device resides.
Confederation Identifier
The AS number of the confederation in which the device resides.
Confederation Peers
The numbers of the local ASs contained in the confederation. This list matches
the confederation peer list you configure on the device.
Maximum Number of
Paths Supported for Load
Sharing
The maximum number of route paths across which the device can balance
traffic to the same destination. The feature is enabled by default but the
default number of paths is 1. You can increase the number from 2 – 8 paths.
Number of Neighbors
Configured
The number of BGP4+ neighbors configured on this device.
Number of Routes
Installed
The number of BGP4+ routes in the device’s BGP4+ route table.

Number of Routes
Advertising to All
Neighbors
The total of the RtSent and RtToSend columns for all neighbors.
Number of Attribute
Entries Installed
The number of BGP4+ route-attribute entries in the route-attributes table. To
display the route-attribute table, refer to
“Displaying BGP4+ route-attribute
Neighbor Address
The IPv6 addresses of this BGP4+ neighbors.

The AS number.
