The performance monitoring settings can be saved as a performance view of the trend line or data
grid type.
4. Click OK to add the selected monitor instances to the existing performance view.
Once you have added the monitor instances to the performance views, you can launch the views
from the Performance View List. For more information about performance views, see " Viewing a
performance view report ."
Adding a performance view shortcut to the floating menu
Once a performance view has been created, you can add it to the floating menu for quick access to it.
By default, the newly added performance view is added to the floating menu in the navigation tree.
To add performance views to the floating menu:
1. Navigate to Resource > Performance View:
a. Click the Resource tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.
b. Click the Performance Management link on the navigation tree on the left.
c. Click Performance View under Performance Management from the navigation system on the
left.
The Performance View page displays with the Performance View List populated.
2. Navigate to the folder that contains the performance view you want to add to the floating menu.
3. Click the link in the Operation field associated with the performance view you want to add to
the left navigation tree and select Add to the floating menu to add the performance view to the
floating menu.
Hover over Performance View on the left navigation tree, and a floating menu appears. Click the
performance view in the floating menu to enter the Monitoring Data Statistics window. For more
information, see " Viewing performance views ."
Removing a performance view shortcut from the floating menu
To remove performance views from the floating menu:
1. Navigate to Resource > Performance View:
a. Click the Resource tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.
b. Click the Performance Management link on the navigation tree on the left.
c. Click Performance View under Performance Management from the navigation system on the
left.
The Performance View page displays with the Performance View List populated.
2. Navigate to the folder that contains the performance view you want to remove from the left
navigation tree.
3. Click the link in the Operation field associated with the performance view you want to remove
from the floating menu and select Remove from floating menu to remove the performance view
from the floating menu.
Modifying a Data Grid/Trend Line performance view
To modify a Data Grid/Trend Line performance view:
1. Navigate to Resource > Performance View:
a. Click the Resource tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.
b. Click the Performance Management link on the navigation tree on the left.
