Add iSCSI Connection
•
Profile Name: Select the server profile file created on the HP VC device. This option is required.
•
Network: Select the network to which the HP VC device is assigned.
•
Address Type: Select the MAC address type of the NIC or port. Options include Factory-Default
and User-Defined. If you do not configure this option, the device automatically assigns an address
string to the NIC or port from a specified address pool. If Factory-Default is selected, the device
uses the factory-default MAC address. If User-Defined is selected, assign a MAC address to the NIC
or port by configuring the iSCSI MAC parameter.

iSCSI MAC: Enter a hexadecimal iSCSI MAC address in the format of FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF. If you select
User-Defined in Address Type, this option is required.
•
Speed Type: Select the speed type of the port. Options include Preferred, Auto, and Custom.
•
Speed: Set the speed of the port, which must be an integer ranging from 100 to 10000 in MBps.
This option is required when Custom is selected in Speed Type.
Delete iSCSI Connection
Profile Name: Select the server profile file created on the HP VC device. IMC deletes all iSCSI
connections in this file.
Add Server Downlink Port Mapping

Profile Name: Select the server profile file created on the HP VC device. This option is required.
•
Port Number: Select the port to map.
•
Network: Select the network to which the HP VC device is assigned.
•
Uplink Set Name: Select the uplink set created on the HP VC device.
•
VLAN ID: Enter the ID of the VLAN to which the port belongs, in the range of 1 to 4094.
•
Untagged: This parameter allows you to configure the network whether to process packets without
VLAN tags. Options include No and Yes and the default is No.
Delete Server Downlink Port Mapping

Profile Name: Select the server profile file created on the HP VC device.
•
Port Number: Select the port to map.
•
Network: Select the network to which the HP VC device is assigned.
•
Do one of the following:
Click the Copy link to the right of an operation to copy the operation to create an operation that
uses the default parameters, or
Click the Delete link to the right of an operation to delete the operation.
You can apply up to 30 operations (including operations of the same name) at a time. If you apply
more than 30 operations, the copying operation fails, and you cannot enter the next configuration
procedure.

Click Next to enter the Set Task Attributes page.
15.
Enter a name for this task in the Task Name field.
16.
Select the type of deployment schedule you want to apply to this task from the Schedule Type list.

Do one of the following:

If you want IMC to execute this task one time, select Once and go to Step 19.

If you want this configuration deployment task to be executed on a scheduled basis, select Cycle
and go to Step 20.
