In the Password Length field, enter the password length for the guest accounts. The password
length is an integer ranging from 1 to 9.
When IMC automatically creates accounts, IMC creates account passwords according to the
password type and password length you set.
h.
In the Expiry Time field, enter the expiry period (in hours) for the guest accounts. The expiry
period ranges from 1 to 100000 hours. When the expiry period eclipses after an account is
created, the account is automatically invalidated and de-registered.
i.
From the Expiry Time Modify list, you can specify whether the expiry period can be modified
when guest accounts are created. Allowed indicates that you are allowed to modify the expiry
time when creating guest accounts. Not Allowed indicates that you cannot.
Whether to allow modifying the expiry time depends on the characteristics of guests. For
guests who have obvious network access time, you can select Not Allowed.
5.
Specify the access devices and device user groups for the guest access user group.
Users in the guest access user group can access the network through only the specified access

4.
When you batch create guest accounts in the guest access self-service system, IMC creates
accounts according to the rule of batch creating guest accounts.
Rule of Batch-Creating Accounts
•
Account Type: Indicates the type of guest access accounts. The account type can be Prefix + Serial
Number + Suffix, Prefix + Serial Number, or Serial Number + Suffix.
•
Account Prefix: Prefix of the guest access accounts. This field is displayed when the account type is
Prefix + Serial Number + Suffix or Prefix + Serial Number.
•
Account Suffix: Suffix of the guest access accounts. This field is displayed when the account type is
Prefix + Serial Number + Suffix or Serial Number + Suffix.
•
Account Display Suffix: Display suffix for the guest access accounts. When no account display
suffix is configured, this field is null. For example, the guest user account is BJ0001VIP (where BJ is
the prefix, 0001 is the serial number, and VIP is the suffix) and the account display suffix is 2F. Then,
the full name of the guest access account is BJ0001VIP2F. The account display suffix is displayed
only when the guest account is printed, and is not used when a guest logs in.
