Name Description Symbol
Setpoint at Upper
Limit True when the active modes setpoint is at the
upper limit.
Soft Start Active True during softstart.
Start Status True when the unit is in Start mode.
Sync Active True when synchronization is active.
Transfer
Watchdog True when watchdog has timed out and system
control will switch to an alternate redundant DECS-
250N.
Transient Boost
Active True when transient boost is active.
UEL True when the Under Excitation Limiter is active.
Under Frequency
V/Hz True when the Under Frequency or the Volts/Hz
Limiter is active.
Unknown
Network Load
Share Protocol
Version True when there is another unit on the network
whose load share protocol version is not the same
as this units load share protocol version.
VAR Controller
Active True when the unit is in VAR mode.
VAR Limiter
Active True when the Var Limiter is active.
Voltage Matching
Active True when Voltage Matching is active.
Protection Several protection status alarms are available. The
25 Sync-Check Status Alarm input is shown to the
right. These elements are true when the pickup
threshold is exceeded for the duration of the time
delay.
Configurable
Protection 1-8 There are four thresholds for each of the eight
Configurable Protection blocks. Each threshold can
be set to Over or Under mode and the threshold
limit and activation delay can each be set. See
Protection chapter in this manual for more details.
Each threshold has a separate logic block for the
pickup and the trip. Configurable Protection #1 with
its Threshold #1 Pickup and Trip blocks is shown to
the right. The pickup block is true when the
threshold is exceeded. The trip block is true when
the corresponding pickup block threshold is
exceeded for the duration of the time delay.

Expansion
Module, CEM
Connected Contact Expansion Module Connected. True when
an optional CEM-2020 is connected to the DECS-
250N.
