7.5.3 Deleting a data record in the project

How to delete a data record saved in the project:
1. Go to the Oscilloscope toolbar and click .
• The Load data record dialog box appears.
2. Go to the Data record list field and click the data record to be deleted with the right
mouse key to open the Context menu for the data record.
3. Select the Delete data record in the Context menu.
4. Click Cancel to close the dialog box again.
7.5.4 Overlay function
The overlay function serves to overlay several curves derived from the currently loaded
data records, e.g. to compare signal characteristics from different recordings.
 If two or more data records are loaded in the oscilloscope, e.g. an online data record and
a data record saved in the project, a "merge" data record is available in the Data record
list field.
 When the merge data record is selected, the curves to be overlaid/compared can be
selected from the loaded data records in the Vertical channel settings group field.
 If an online data record is used in the merge data record, the merge data record is
updated in case of a renewed recording.
 Removing variables from an offline or online data record also deletes the
corresponding curves in the merge data record.
