Usage
Upon packet reception, node aliases are dynamically assigned to ports enabled with an alias
agent, which is the default setting on D‐Series devices. Node aliases cannot be statically created,
but can be deleted using the clear node alias command as described in “

Use this command to reset node alias state to enabled and clear the maximum entries value.

enable | disable
Enables or disables a node alias agent.
maxentries maxentries
Set the maximum number of alias entries per ports. Valid range is 0 to
4096. The default value is 32.
port‐string
Specifies the port(s) on which to enable/disable node alias agent or set
a maximum number of entries.
port‐string
Specifies the port(s) on which to reset the node alias configuration.
