Example
This example shows how to configure port 1 to advertise 1000BASE‐T full duplex:
D2(su)->set port advertise ge.1.1 1000tfd
clear port advertise
Use this command to configure a port to not advertise a specific speed/duplex capability when
auto‐negotiating with another port.
Syntax
clear port advertise {port-string}{10t | 10tfd | 100tx | 100txfd | 1000t | 1000tfd
| pause}

Mode
Switch command, read‐write.
100txfd Advertise 100BASE‐TX full duplex mode. Refer to “ Configuring SFP Ports
for 100BASE‐FX ” on page 4‐2 for more information on setting advertised
ability for 100 Mb SFP tranceivers.
1000t Advertise 1000BASE‐T half duplex mode.
1000tfd Advertise 1000BASE‐T full duplex mode.
pause Advertise PAUSE for full‐duplex links.
port‐string Clear advertisements for specific port(s). For a detailed description of
possible port‐string values, refer to “
Port String Syntax Used in the
CLI ” on page 4‐1.
10t Do not advertise 10BASE‐T half duplex mode.
10tfd Do not advertise 10BASE‐T full duplex mode.
100tx Do not advertise 100BASE‐TX half duplex mode.
100txfd Do not advertise 100BASE‐TX full duplex mode.
1000t Do not advertise 1000BASE‐T half duplex mode.
1000tfd Do not advertise 1000BASE‐T full duplex mode.
pause Do not advertise PAUSE for full‐duplex links.
