Defining SNMP Views Using CLI Commands

The following table summarizes the CLI commands for defining fields

displayed in the View Settings pages.

The following is an example of CLI commands:

SNMP Access Control (Groups)

For ease of use, users may be assigned to groups. In this way, it is possible to

assign feature access rights to an entire group, instead of assigning them

individually to users. Users are created in the User Security Model pages.
Groups can be defined in any version of SNMP, but only SNMPv3 groups can

be assigned authentication methods.

snmp-server view view-name

oid-tree {included | excluded}

no snmp-server view view-name

[oid-tree]

Creates or updates a SNMP server view

entry.
Use the no form of this command to

remove an SNMP server view entry.

show snmp views [viewname]

Displays the configuration of a view or all

views.

console(config)# snmp-server view user1 1 included
