Entering Asset Information Using the CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for entering fields
displayed on the Asset page.
The following is an example of the CLI commands
System Health
There are five temperature sensors for monitoring the temperature of the
switch and the ambient temperature.
To view the device’s temperature information:
1 Click System > General > System Health in the tree view to display the
System Health page.
This page displays the temperature of each sensor, as follows:

Configures the system contact
(sysContact) name.
Use the no form of the command to
remove the system contact
information.
snmp-server location text
no snmp-server location
Configures the system location
string.
Use the no form of this command to
remove the location string.
hostname name
no hostname
Specifies the device host name.
Use the no form of the command to
remove the existing host name.
clock set hh:mm:ss {[day
month] | [month day]} year
Sets the system clock to this time.
asset-tag tag
no asset-tag
Assigns the asset tag to the device.
Use the no form of this command to
remove the asset tag from the device.
