1 Feed roller Feeds printing paper sheet by sheet to the printing
unit of the main body.
2 Top air nozzle Blows air to separate the paper.
3 Small size guides (2 pieces) Opened inward for paper of the width less than 139.7
mm.
4 Side air nozzle Blows air to slightly float the paper.
5 Side guides (2 pieces) Aligned to the edges of loaded paper.
6 Guide fixing knobs (2 pieces) Turned to move or fix the side guides.
7 Paper size indicator Indicates an appropriate position of side guides for
the paper size to be loaded.
8 Side guide handle Held together with the side guide lock release lever
in order to move the side guides.
9 Rear guide lock release lever Pushed to release the lock in order to move the rear
guide.
10 Rear guide Aligned to the rear edge of loaded paper.
11 Side guide lock release lever Pushed backward to release the lock in order to move
side guides.
12 Tray handle Held to withdraw the tray.
13 Tray left side door Opens for removal of mishandled paper from the main
body right side door or from the paper feeder unit
trays.
14 Tray left side door knob Held to open the tray left side door.
15 Air blow access window Opens to check the paper feedability effected by air
blow.
16 Upper tray (tray 4) (or tray 7 in the sec-
ond unit) Holds 1,390 sheets (80 g/m 2 ) of standard, custom, or
tab paper sizes.
