Follow the procedure on page 10-3 to display the Administrator Setting Menu Screen.

Press [01 System Setting], [04/05 Expert Adjustment], [03 Process Adjustment], and [05 Scattering Fil-
ter Cleaning] in sequence.

Press [Start].
The machine executes the cleaning of scattering filter for 15 seconds.

When the cleaning is completed, press [Return] to restore the Process Adjustment Menu Screen.

Setting]
Periodically polish the surface of fusing roller using a refresh roller, in order to prevent the damage caused
by edges of paper.
Select the interval and length of time to polish the surface of fusing roller.
NOTICE
Be aware that repeated refreshing operations may result in fine, glossy lines on output sheets.
NOTICE
The title number given to [Expert Adjustment] will be [04] for the machine without Image Controller IC-601,
or [05] for the machine with that option mounted.
