% Press [Next] to display the screen that provides [Speed Down] and [CPM Down]. Select the desired
key for each item.
% Selecting [ON (Type A)] for [Speed Down] consistently reduces the print speed. This selection may
require further adjustments to 2nd Transfer Output, Separation AC, or Separation DC.
% Selecting [ON (Type B)] for [Speed Down] reduces the print speed for the first two sheets after the
start of printing, and then restores the normal print speed from the third.
% See page 4-14 for details of the processing speed.
% Press [Next] to display the screen that provides [Uncoated Paper Black Density Adjustment]. Select
the desired key. This adjustment controls the density of black toner only in printing on paper types
other than coated paper, such as plain, fine, or colored paper. Selecting [+1], [+2], or [+3 (Max)] in-
creases black toner consumption.
% Press [OK] to complete the setting. To cancel the change, press [Cancel]. In either case, the Register
Type/Weight Screen will be restored.

Press [Color Density].
The Color Density Screen will be displayed.
NOTICE
The color density setting becomes available when [Yes] is selected for [Use Color Density Control] ac-
cessed from [05 Color Density Control] on the Adjustment Menu Screen.
