Follow the procedure on page 10-3 to display the User Setting Menu Screen.

Press [01 System Setting], [03 Paper Tray Setting], and [03 Type for Auto Paper] in sequence.

Specify paper conditions for trays to be selected in Auto Paper or ATS.
% Select the desired condition for each item. Multiple conditions can be selected for "Paper Type" and
"Weight."
% Press [Unit Change] to switch the unit of weight.

Press [OK] to complete the setting.
% To cancel the change, press [Cancel]. In either case, the Paper Tray Setting Menu Screen will be
restored.
10.2.6 [03 Paper Tray Setting] - [04 Dehumidify Fan Heater]
Turn on/off the preliminary drying function of the fan heater, and set the machine to automatically or compul-
sively turn on/off the fan heater of each tray, if Paper Feeder Unit PF-704 (trays 4 to 9) or Paper Feeder Unit
(with scanner) PF-705 (trays 4 to 6) is equipped with Dehumidifier Heater HT-506.

Press [01 System Setting], [03 Paper Tray Setting], and [04 Dehumidify Fan Heater] in sequence.

Set the fan heater functions as desired.
% Select [ON] to activate the Dryness Preparation function, or select [OFF] to deactivate it.
% Select [Auto], [Compulsive ON], or [Compulsive OFF] for the function to control the fan heater in-
stalled in each tray of Paper Feeder Unit PF-704 (trays 4 to 9) or of Paper Feeder Unit (with scan-
ner) PF-705 (trays 4 to 6).

Press [OK] to complete the setting.
% To cancel the change, press [Cancel]. In either case, the Paper Tray Setting Menu Screen will be
restored.
