3.5 Making User Authentication/Account Track
The machine equipped with Paper Feeder Unit (with scanner) PF-705 can be set to provide the following
functions after a successful authentication is made by entering a user name, user password, section name,
and/or section password specified by the administrator. Also, the machine can be set to allow the following
functions by holding an IC card over Authentication Unit (IC Card Type) AU-201.
This setting is referred to as the user authentication/account track.
The machine without Paper Feeder Unit (with scanner) PF-705 can be set up for the user authentication/ac-
count track, however, it will not display the screens to require a user or account authentication. The authen-
tication should be made from the PC having accessed to the machine.
