12.1 PageScope Web Connection Outlines
NOTICE
PageScope Web Connection is available only on the machine mounted with Image Controller IC-601.
PageScope Web Connection is a device control utility program provided by the HTTP server, which is built
into Image Controller IC-601. This utility allows you to perform the machine maintenance or to make the
security, printer, scanner, and network settings via a Web browser. The machine without Paper Feeder Unit
(with scanner) PF-705 is unavailable for scanner settings.
- This function is unavailable while the Enhanced Security mode is activated.
- This function is unavailable with the PSWC setting set to "Enable." For details, see the screen accessed
from the Utility Menu Screen - 02/03 Administrator Setting - Controller - 01 Controller NIC Setting - 03
HTTP Server Setting.
When any trouble occurs on the main body while it has been accessed via PageScope Web Connection, the
message [Operator Call] appears in the output information indicator area of the Machine Screen, being ac-
companied by an error code below. Please follow the instruction provided for each error code. See
page 12-57 for details.
12.1.1 System Requirements
To fully access all the features of PageScope Web Connection, the operating computer should meet the fol-
lowing requirements.
You can choose Flash or HTML to view the PageScope Web Connection. To view the Flash page, Adobe
Flash Player Ver. 7.0 or higher needs to be installed on the computer.
