Follow the procedure on page 10-3 to display the Administrator Setting Menu Screen.

Press [07 Security Setting], [02 HDD Management Setting], and [02 Delete Temp. Data Setting] in se-
quence.

The Delete Temporary Data Setting Screen will be displayed.

Select either [ON] or [OFF] for [Setting Switch].

% When selecting [ON], also select either [Mode 1] or [Mode 2] for [Erase Mode].

Press [OK] to complete the setting.

% To cancel the change, press [Cancel].

In either case, the HDD Management Setting Menu Screen will be restored.

[02 HDD Management Setting] - [03 Delete All Data Setting]

Select an erase mode for the data stored on the HDD of the machine or on non-volatile memories, which
should be deleted by being overwritten with a specific data. You can actually overwrite and delete the data
in this operation. This function is useful when disposing the machine.

NOTICE

[02 HDD Management Setting] is displayed to function on the machine mounted with Hard Disk Kit HD-514.
