3. In the TFTP BootLoader/Image Download section, fill in the following
parameters:
TFTP Server IP Address
The IP address of the TFTP server where the software image is
located.
Remote Image File Name
The path and name of the software image. The file name can be a
maximum of 20 characters long.
Note
The file you are downloading must be stored in the download
directory of the TFTP server.
4. Click the Reboot Switch After Download of Software checkbox
(recommended) to reboot the switch with the new software.
5. Click Apply.
The download process may take several seconds. During the
process, the following message is displayed:
Please wait . . .
TFTP Download in Progress
After the download process is complete, the AT-8400 compares
the new image with the existing image that the switch is running.
If the two files are the same, the following message is displayed:
Download completed successfully!
No changes were made to the system.
Please click the OK button to proceed.
If this message is not displayed, proceed to step 7. Otherwise, go
on to step 6.
6. Click OK.
The System Maintenance tab is displayed.
7. If the new image differs from the existing one, the following message
is displayed:
Download completed successfully!
Changes were made to the system.
Please click on the OK button to reboot switch.
