The Configure Port Access Role Menu is shown in Figure 145.

5. Type 1 to select Port Role. The following prompt is displayed:
Enter new Port Role [N-None, A-Authenticator, S-
Supplicant] ->
6. Choose from the following:
Type A to select Authenticator. With this selection, the port
performs the role of authenticating the supplicants that are
connected to the port.
Type S to select Supplicant. With this selection, the port becomes
a Supplicant to the Authenticator port.
Type N to select None. If you select None, the port does not
participate in port access control. The default for this parameter is
None.
Then Press Return. The Port Access Control Menu is displayed.
7. After making changes, type R until you return to the Main Menu. Then
type S to select Save Configuration Changes.
