Setting Security for Planners
After you run INITENV with the initialization option on a host system, you must use the
ZPHIHMI. See
Setting Planner Security (ZPHIHMI)
on page 5-9. Otherwise, you can
use either the Planner Interface or ZPHIHMI to set security for planners.
Setting Planner Security (Planner Interface)
1. Log on to the Planner Interface (see
Entering the Planner Interface
using the DSM/SCM user ID.
The Planner Interface Window (
on page 2-5) displays the Software in
Archive and Configuration Revisions windows. The Software in Archive window
lists the software currently in the DSM/SCM archive.
2. Select Maintain>Security Maintenance>Planner list. DSM/SCM displays the
Planner Security Profile window.
3. In the Planner List dialog box, do one of:
To add a planner:
a. Click the Add button.
b. Add user IDs or aliases.
To change planner security information:
a. In the Planner List dialog box, select the name of a planner in the list.
b. Click Modify.
To remove a planner:
a. In the Planner List dialog box, click the name of a planner in the list.
b. Click Delete. Skip ahead to Step 4.
4. Click OK; then click OK in the Planner List dialog box.
Setting Planner Security (ZPHIHMI)
1. From the host system, check that ZDSMSCM is the current subvolume; then run
the ZPHIHMI:
> VOLUME $volume.ZDSMSCM
> RUN ZPHIHMI
2. Log on to the ZPHIHMI using the DSM/SCM user ID. DSM/SCM displays the
Maintenance Interface main menu.
Note. All tasks are initially set to allow access (each check box has an X) for planners. To
deny access to a task, click its check box to remove the X.
