Creating a Noncloning Configuration on a
Master or Clone
It is unusual to update the configuration of a single member of a clone group. But if
needed, you can update the software configuration for an individual master or clone
system.
To create a software configuration to apply to a master but no other clone group
members:
1. Remove the master from the clone group. See
Removing a Master From a Clone
2. Perform a normal Build/Apply on the master.
3. Make the system a master for the clone group again. See

2. In the Planner Interface, copy the current configuration to the clone, to ensure an
accurate starting point for this Build/Apply.
3. Perform a normal Build/Apply on the clone.
4. Make the system a clone in the clone group again. See
Note. Once you return it to the clone group, the system where you applied a unique
configuration will not have the same configuration as other clone group members.
