Standard Reports

Certain OSS files do not have fingerprints. For reports that list fingerprints, when they
are generated where DSM/SCM manages OSS files, the fingerprint string for these
special OSS files is (Not-Applicable-x), where x can be:

Software
Product Files

Shows the destination of all files in all
products contained in a specified software
input.

The input name, product name, product
number, product version, base SPR, and
update SPR appear at the head of each
group of product files.

For OSS products in the input, OSS files
are listed after the Guardian files. The pax
file, file type, and fully qualified OSS
filename is shown.

Use when preparing to update
a systems’ software
configuration.

System
Report

Lists all logical targets on the target
system and all software managed by
DSM/SCM in each logical target. Available
only through the ZPHITI on a target
system.

For each logical target that manages OSS
files, OSS-managed TDLs are listed after
the TSVs. For each file, the fingerprint
and filename is shown.

Use for many tasks performed
by an operator working on a
target system.

Unused Input

Lists the software inputs that have not
been added to any configurations.

Use to determine if an input is
used in an existing
configuration. Helps you
manage the archive by
providing data on which inputs
you can delete or back up.
