Limiting the Software Inputs to Display
3. Make changes as needed:

To change the software input name, enter a new name in the Software name
field.

To change the software description, enter up to three lines of text in the
Description field.
4. Click OK.
Limiting the Software Inputs to Display
The list of software inputs in the Software in Archive window might become extensive.
You can limit which software inputs are displayed in the Software in Archive window to
make them easier to locate and maintain. For example, you can restrict the display to
inputs received in a particular date range or from a particular vendor.
To limit the software inputs displayed in the Software in Archive Window:
1. In the Software in Archive window, select View>View software by.
DSM/SCM displays the View Software in Archive By dialog box:

2. Select the check box for one or more of these items and enter or select the specific
information:

Inputs received within a specific date range

A specific software input type

Inputs for a specific vendor

Inputs received by a specific planner
3. Click OK.
After you select a combination of inputs, DSM/SCM displays a summary of your
input choices at the top of the Software in Archive window.
