ASSIGNs and PARAMs
DSM/SCM User’s Guide — 529846-014
E - 7
PARAM Summary
YES
specifies that the last-logon timestamp for the user that logged into DSM/SCM
is not updated in the SAFEGUARD logs.
NO
specifies that the timestamp is updated. This is the default.
FORCE-PUBLIC-DLL-BUILD "system logical_target revision "
builds public DLLs for the configuration specified. Pass this PARAM to CB-001. For
example:
"TARG DEFAULT 47"
system
is the target system.
logical_target
is the logical target name.
revision
is the revision number
FP-CACHE-DISABLE
disables the use of fingerprint cache. Pass this PARAM to TA-001. DSM/SCM was
fingerprinting some files multiple times in the Apply and Verify DB. The fingerprint
cache saves the most recent fingerprints generated. The cache is searched first
when a fingerprint is requested for a file. CRONLOG contains some statistics on
how successful this is (search for "FP cache").
FP-MFG-*
The FP-MFG-* PARAMs determine what type of fingerprints are assigned to
manufactured files. Pass this PARAM to CB-001. If you do not specify a FP-MFG-*
PARAM, all files get real fingerprints except IOPCONF, which gets delphi
fingerprints(LMT and EOF). FP-MFG-* PARAMs control what types of fingerprints
are used.
Precedence - The precedence is in this order, high to low:
1 FP-MFG-filename--VERSION
2 FP-MFG-SYSNN-VERSION *
2 FP-MFG-PUB-DLL-VERSION * Mutually exclusive
2 FP-MFG-SRL-VERSION *
3 FP-MFG-VERSION
