Restricting the Requests Displayed
To restrict the request list:
1. From the Requests window, select View>View requests for. DSM/SCM displays
the View Requests For dialog box, at the top of which is a summary of the choices.
2. Select the check boxes of the request types to be displayed:
3. To display requests for a specific planner:
a. Select the Show requests for planner check box.
b. From the list of planners, select the planner. (The default is to show requests
for all planners.)
4. Select one or more check boxes to display requests with a specific status:
Any status not listed here is always displayed in the requests list.
5. Click OK.
Checking the Status of a Request
You can check the status of requests in the Planner Interface at two levels of detail:
For a status summary and current activity status details, open a request status
window.
For detailed information, view EMS messages.
To check detailed status of a request:
1. From the Planner Interface, select Requests>Requests list.

Inputs/Snapshots
Receive Software and Receive Snapshot requests
Reports
Prepare Softdocs, Prepare Release Documents, Prepare
Reports, and Export Files requests
Configurations
Build and Build/Apply requests.
All systems
Build/Apply requests for all systems.
System
Build/Apply requests for a specific system. Select a system from
the list of systems.
Status
Action
Processing
Selects only requests that are still being processed.
Action
required
Selects only requests that have stopped because they are
restartable, nonrestartable, or awaiting a tape mount.
Completed
Selects only requests that have finished processing
(successfully or with errors).
