Setting Output Options
Output Location for Target Reports
The subvolume location for reports to be viewed online. When you request a report,
you can override the default location you specify here. From the Output Options dialog
box, type the name of the volume. For example:
$S.#TARG.OUTPUT
Target Volume for New Subvolumes
New subvolumes created during DSM/SCM processing are placed in the target
volume. The default is $SYSTEM. From the Output Options dialog box, you can select
a different volume for this build/apply request. For example:
$SYSTEM
$altvolume
Guardian Default for New Files
Default ownership for new files
The default owner for all new files on the logical target is the DSM/SCM user ID.
The DSM/SCM user ID is the super ID (255.255) by default. Files that replace
existing files assume the same ownership as the old file. You can specify the
DSM/SCM user ID or alias123.
Default security for new files
Files that replace existing files assume the same security as the old file. The
default security settings for all new files on the logical target is NCNC. You can
change the security. For example:

Adding Files to the Activation Package
The default is to not include EMS template source files, SPI definition files, or
privileged declaration files in the activation package.
If you leave the boxes unchecked, the default is used.
You can use these options to include them. From the create subvolume(s) field in
the Output options dialog box, check the type of files you would like to include.
