20.8 Images in Visualization
Image files can be used in a visualization object for the background as well as in
visualization elements of type "Bitmap". The following formats are supported:
PLC Designer (HMI): *.bitmap, *.jpg, *.tif
Web-Visualization: *.bmp, *.jpg
Target-Visualization: *.bmp; whether *.jpg and *.tif are supported, depends on the target system.
In „Bitmap“ elements a dynamic change of images can be reached by specifying the
image file name by a project variable instead of using a definite file reference. See the

The background image of a visualization can only be defined by a static file reference.
